A practice for busy minds to return the body

This is not about performance.
It’s about presence — and rebuilding your capacity from the inside out.

Hatha Yoga is a slow, nervous-system-led class designed for women with fast minds and full lives who want to reconnect with a body that can actually support what they’re holding.

Instead of rushing through sequences or trying to “keep up,” this practice creates space to actually feel:

  • each breath
  • each posture
  • each signal from your system.

Because your body already knows what you need — you just haven’t been given time to listen.

What to expect

We start with grounding and orienting ourselves to the space to establish presence.

From there, we move slowly through foundational postures with:

  • time to explore sensation
  • space to respond to what’s showing up
  • awareness of subtle shifts in energy and alignment
  • guidance to support nervous system downshifting

We end with guided breath techniques and a body scan — so your body can integrate what it’s just moved through.

There is no pressure to perform. No expectation to rush. No need to “be flexible.”
Just an invitation to explore presence, create steadiness, and become acquainted with your own intelligence that is ever alive within your nervous system.

This class is for you if:

  • you’re mentally overloaded or stuck “in your head”
  • you want to feel safe slowing down
  • you’re rebuilding after stress, burnout, or injury
  • you want more body-led clarity and less self-demand
  • you’re newer to yoga and need time to learn
  • you’re experienced and want depth, not complexity
  • you crave a practice that actually supports your capacity

What you’ll learn how to

  • use your breath to regulate your system
  • hear your body’s “yes” and “no"
  • move without overriding or ignoring yourself
  • build internal resource and steadiness through stillness

This is yoga as relationship (body, mind and soul) — not performance.

  • Location: Home studio, Swan Hill (address shared on booking)

  • yoga mat
  • comfortable clothing

  • optional: small blanket for rest

Hey, I’m Georgie.
Somatic & energetic practitioner, and someone who lived in her head for years before she started learning to trust her body.

I know what it feels like to be “successful” on paper — meanwhile your system is burning out behind the scenes. I spent years in high-pressure environments:

  • pursuing achievement.
  • ignoring bodily signals.
  • turning away from sensations.

And it cost me — my energy, my health, and my sense of self.

Rebuilding meant coming home to my body in a whole new way — slowly, honestly, and without performance.

Now I support other women to do the same. My work is anchored in nervous-system regulation, somatic presence, and embodied agency.

I hold space for you to return to the intelligence you already carry, one sensation at a time so you can experience personal sovereignty in your daily life.

I don’t believe you need “fixing”, but instead believe with the right supportive environment you can learn to listen to what your body has tried to tell you all along.
