Our Slow Hatha yoga class strips away complexity to reveal the profound depth that exists in simplicity. Moving beyond the rush of dynamic flows, this class creates space for you to truly inhabit each pose, explore subtle sensations, and develop a more intimate relationship with your body & breath.

the Experience

This session begins with guided breathwork to center your awareness and prepare your nervous system for practice. We then move deliberately through fundamental yoga postures with an emphasis on steadiness, and mindful awareness.

Unlike faster-paced classes, Slow Hatha offers:

  • Extended time in each posture to explore sensation
  • Space to notice how each pose uniquely manifests in your body & adjust accordingly
  • Opportunities to develop body awareness and proprioception
  • Closing breathwork to ground & integrate the practice

The slower pace allows beginners to build a solid foundation while offering experienced practitioners the rare opportunity to refine their understanding of familiar poses. By slowing down, we often discover new dimensions of postures we thought we knew well.

About your teacher:

Georgie Jeans is a Yoga Teacher and Spinal Energetics Practitioner whose approach is deeply informed by her personal experience of reclaiming authentic living.

If you're "successful" on paper but running empty on the inside, you're not alone, Georgie knows because she's walked that path. Georgie spent years giving her power away in an unhealthy relationship, consequentially developing autoimmune disease from ignoring her body's signals and later experiencing burnout as a lawyer constantly masking her true personality. She was left disconnected from herself.

Living in her head for years came at the cost of her own health and wellbeing. Georgie committed to rebuild herself from the ground up and to discovering what authentic living truly meant to her by reconnecting to her body and now guides others do the same.

Through her own healing journey, Georgie discovered yoga and later, Spinal Energetics, as powerful and practical tools to reconnect with her body, step away of mental overwhelm and into greater embodied presence. Her work is informed by the understanding that deep living happens when we stop being dictated by our minds and start listening to the wisdom of sensation of our bodies.

Georgie holds space for clients to explore forging their own path back to themselves. With nervous system regulation as the foundation, she gently guides individuals to tune into the subtle signals their bodies communicate. Her approach emphasises bodily awareness and personal agency, empowering clients to reconnect with their innate healing intelligence and honour their unique process of release and integration.
